Samsung Cuts Prices of Galaxy S4 & S4 Mini

NEW DELHI: Samsung's flagship phone for 2013, Galaxy S4, has received an official price cut, a month after the launch of its successor, Galaxy S5. The compact variant of the phone, Galaxy S4 Mini has also got a price cut.

The Galaxy S4 is now available at Rs 31,814 while the Galaxy S4 Mini can be purchased at Rs 19,278 on Samsung India eStore.

While the Galaxy S4 was already available at a price close to Rs 30,000 on various e-commerce websites, it was selling at Rs 40,500 on Samsung's official store until today. The device was launched in the country at Rs 41,500.



The phone may not boast of the latest hardware specifications but is still one of the most powerful smartphones available in the market. It sports a 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920p). The phone is is powered by 1.6GHz Exynos octa processor and 2GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini was previously selling at Rs 23,360 on the company's official online store. The phone was launched at Rs 27,990, last year.

Samsung had been running several promotional offers including cash-back, buyback and EMI offers on the phones, effectively offering a reduced price.
